At Monthly Dignity, we believe in the power of community engagement to create meaningful change. We host annual events and gatherings throughout that serve as platforms for education, empowerment, and advocacy.
Menstrual Health Day
Every year on International Menstrual Health Day (May 28th), we host a vibrant community event dedicated to breaking the silence and stigma surrounding menstruation. Through art, theatre, comedy, and engaging discussions, we aim to destigmatize menstruation and raise awareness about period poverty.
Fundraising Gala
Our annual Fundraising Gala is a night to remember, where our supporters, donors, advocates, and community partners gather to make a lasting impact. Join us for an inspiring evening as we come together to raise awareness and funds to support our work. With live entertainment, silent auctions, and empowering stories, this Gala is not only a celebration but also a vital opportunity to support our mission to fight for menstrual equity in the Montreal community.
Donate products
We’ve partnered with two zero-waste grocery stores, LOCO and Vrac & Bocaux, who accept smaller donations of menstrual products on our behalf. For larger donations or if you’re interested in planning a donation drive, please contact us directly.
We accept
- Single-use menstrual products (e.g., pads, tampons, liners) in new or opened boxes/packs
- Reusable menstrual products (e.g., menstrual cups & discs, reusable pads, menstrual underwear)
We don’t accept
- Single-use products with unsealed individual packaging (it’s ok if the box/pack is open)
- Reusable products that have been worn or used (even if they have been sterilized)
- Items that aren’t related to menstruation

Corporate Donations
Are you looking for an engaging & hands-on volunteer opportunity for your group that’s both impactful and enjoyable? We’ve teamed up with Kits for a Cause’s Care Kit Program to offer a way for groups to make a meaningful contribution to ending period poverty in Montreal. You can host your own event to pack Kits of essential menstrual products that we can distribute to our community partners. It’s a perfect fit for corporate volunteers, faith-based groups, school groups, and friend circles! You’ll have the flexibility to customize your event according to your schedule & location preferences.
