We acknowledge that our work is situated within the traditional and unceded territory of Indigenous Peoples. Tiohtià:ke (Montréal) has long served as a place for meeting and exchange for the Kanien’kehà:ka (Mowhawk), a founding member of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Anishinaabeg peoples. We recognize and honour the traditional stewards of these lands and waters, and value being able to work with these communities to support the dismantling of systems of oppression and discrimination.
